Check-In/Out Times: You may arrive at the Inn any time after noon. We guarantee your guest room will be ready by 3 p.m., but if it’s ready earlier, you may go right in. On the day you check out, we must have access to your guest room no later than noon, but you’re welcome to stay on the premises the rest of the day to enjoy the facilities.
Children: The adult environment of the Inn at Lake Joseph provides a break for those parents who seek time away from the day-to-day responsibilities of raising small children. We try to encourage this environment by welcoming children 12 and older. Children under 12 may stay with us Sunday through Thursday, September through June, except for holidays and the week of Christmas.

Rates: All rates listed are daily and for double occupancy. For reservations with more than two guests, a $50 extra person charge will be applied to each day. Special rates are available for business meetings, business travelers, workshop and seminar attendees, and corporate retreats. Update (17 September, 2021): For reservations made prior to September 17th, 2021, a 10% facility charge is added to your bill, which covers access to all amenities and equipment. The 10% facility charge will not apply to reservations made after September 17th, 2021.
Minimum Stays: There are no minimum stay requirements for mid-week travelers. Most weekends require a two-night minimum stay with exceptions. Please inquire. There is a three-night minimum for holiday weekends.
Partial Stay Options: If you choose to stay less than the minimum nights’ requirement, the remaining nights are open to rent to other guests. When the remaining night(s) are rented, you pay only for the nights of your stay. If the room remains vacant, you pay for the additional night(s) and receive a credit you may apply toward a future stay. The credit is in gift certificate form with no expiration limit. However, there are some restrictions to the credit. On weekends, holidays, the week of Christmas and the months of July and August, a reservation request to use the credit may be made within the week prior to requested arrival date. We then can make a judgment whether we can accept the reservation based on our occupancy level.
Cancellation Policy: If for any reason you have to cancel within two weeks prior to your arrival or cannot check in, or if you have to leave prior to your check-out date, you may be charged for one night or one third of your stay, whichever is greater. The good news is, we will apply your charge as a deposit towards a future stay on a space available basis in gift certificate form with no time limit for you or others to enjoy.

Inn at Lake Joseph warmly welcomes all guests. However, due to the historic significance of our 1890s Lodge and separate Carriage House and Cottage, the property is not wheelchair accessible. Removal of necessary physical barriers for accessibility is not readily achievable as such removal would threaten or destroy the historic significance of the property.

We work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:
- We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
- We have identified and described the features in our bed and breakfast and guest rooms in detail to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether our B&B meets their needs.
- We ensure that accessible guest rooms are held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other guest rooms of that type have been rented.
- We guarantee that the specific rooms, once reserved, are held for the reserving customer. We make reasonable efforts with third-party reservation systems to make all rooms available through at least some of these services and they must provide these third-party services with information concerning the features of the hotel and rooms.
- Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the inn afforded to those without service animals.
