Getting Out On The Water

Switch your briefcase for a suitcase and head to the Inn at Lake Joseph for a fun summer on the lake! We have activities for everyone, from swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, to hiking and biking, even tennis and lawn games! We provide complimentary use of our kayaks, rowboats, tennis and ping pong rackets, badminton rackets and birdies, as well as bikes and volleyballs to our guests! Our lake offers a leisure kayaking experience. If you want to get your adrenaline going, we recommend riding the rapids of the Delaware River. There are liveries within a 20-30 minute drive, and you can spend the day floating.  When you stay with us, your stay includes a high-speed wireless Internet, a hot breakfast, snacks, and lunch buffet and full access to the games room and outdoors activities.

For boating on Lake Joseph, we recommend bringing some sun protection such as sunscreen and sunglasses to protect your eyes and skin from the glare off the water. We’d also recommend wearing water-resistant clothing and shoes, or at least footwear you don’t mind getting wet. Please also keep a lookout for other guests using boats or kayaks, or our guests’ furry friends. Many guests enjoy taking the plunge with swimming in the lake – especially our four-legged variety that like to jump off the boat! We do recommend our two-legged guests also jump in for swimming from a boat, as the water is quite shallow for a bit right off the shore.

We are located near a wide range of restaurants within 20 miles of the Inn! So, what are you waiting for, head for the beautiful New York outdoors!
